Escape to Niagara, The Voyage Home

Once again we went with Dunkin' Donuts. This was more an issue of speed than desired breakfast. Not sure what traffic will be like and we have a date with a Tiny House.

Check out from the Stay Inn and Suites was quick and easy. If we come back with a large group this is our best option; however, if it is only a few folks I might check in down the street at the Holiday Inn. (I want a pool, they have breakfast and Holiday Inn has super comfy beds.) If you come to the area, definitely look at places on Niagara Falls Boulevard, especially near the outlets. You have food close and it is not congested with tourists.

84 Lumber Tiny Homes

I was excited to see tiny houses up close and personal. We arrived a little after 1 PM in Eighty-four, PA. Most of the folks that work directly with tiny houses were out, some on the way to the Jamboree in Colorado. The staff was super helpful and we appreciated their willingness to accommodate our schedule.

We understood quickly that we cannot go with a place with a ladder/loft. These homes are solid builds and super cute. We like the Shonsey. It's all one level. I do think we would want to buy the plans and modify it for 24 feet, instead of 20. I want at minimum an apartment size fridge. I would also like an oven. The bathroom is a little too small for my taste. There is storage beneath the floor in several spaces, but I also want a closet...at least a small one.

We hope that 84 will expand their offerings in the future...because this would be an option. They also finish the units out beautifully.  (https://84tinyliving.com)

We Are Out

The last stop before home was Krispy Kreme about an hour and a half from the house. I grew up with Krispy Kreme and have many warm memories associated with these doughnuts, so this was my final food request. LOL

After walking at Niagara Falls and looking at the Tiny homes, I realized that weight loss is a need for the life I want to live. I knew I needed to lose weight, but this weekend I realized the limitations caused by my current physical state. Krispy Kreme did not help this. So this is the start of the next chapter. Niagara Falls is in the books and the future is ahead.

Enjoy your life, make the adjustments to achieve your goals, and be happy.
