That is one of my favorite quotes and the inspiration for the title of my site. This blog is far removed from what it started out as. It went from a somewhat self seeking mission to an honest, sometimes hard look at my faith and my relationship with Jesus Christ.

I am under no delusions that I am blazing a trail here. I have added links to my social media and shared stories that I am not always proud of in an attempt to be transparent. There are posts and photos that I would probably be appalled by given my change of heart. I recently wrote that life is about the journey and the destination. My destination is Heaven, but I expect to hang out here for quite a while. I hope my shortcomings, my victories and my sometimes questionable sanity help you in your journey. Perhaps it will help you reach the same destination I am headed for.

Psalm 37:23-24

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.

So join me in my journey. I stumble, I stumble frequently, but God has me by the hand. Remember we are not perfect, none of us. We can be forgiven.
