Talk About What You Love

What we love we talk about. If you are a new parent, everything your child does is amazing. Big sports fan? You are going to talk about you team. Passionate for politics...well we know how those conversations can go. Even those whose interests are parties, drinking and such talk about what they love to do. Christians are no different in that aspect.

If you are saved, filled with the Holy Spirit and working in the kingdom of God...that is where your heart is located. Your conversations are going to reflect how you spend your time and what you value. I think we miss the point that this is a huge element of our witness to others. I am not talking about forcing our beliefs down someone's throat or shouting judgement. I simply mean that when everyone talks about their weekend on Monday at work, we should be commenting on our church services. When someone talks about how great their day is, we should be talking about how God has blessed us. Our social media should reflect our Christian walk. Everything that comes out of our mouths or shows up in our feed is a reflection of what we really value.

Everyday we should be reflecting our love of God. If we are truly living for God, it is the easiest witnessing we will do.

Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone. Colossians 4:6
